افغان تیلی کام در 13 ستامبر سال 2005 میلادی به حیث یک شرکت مکمل مخابراتی عرض وجود نمود. شرکت افغان تیلی کام در بدو تأسیس به یگانه شرکت که خدمات موبائیل GSM/3G سلام ، خدمات فایبرنوری ، خدمات تلیفون های دیجیتال لیندار، خدمات انترنیت DSL ، خدمات انترنت وایکمس ، خدمات انترنت Dial Up و خدمات VCN را در سطح کشور تهیه میدارد مبدل ګردیده است. علاوه برین، افغان تیلی کام یگانه شرکت مخابراتی است که شبکه مخابراتی تمامی دوایر دولتی بشمول تمام وزارت خانه ها و سایر دفاتر دولتی را تهیه میدارد که شامل خدمات مخابرۀ صوتی، انترنت و سهولت ویدو کانفرانس برای این دوایر میباشد و فعالیت مخابراتی شرکت افغان تیلی کام نیز از جانب وزارت مخابرات دولت جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان تصویب گردیده است. افغان تیلی کام 155 شهر های کوچک و بزرگ و 34 ولایت کشور را تحت پوشش قرار داده و به زودی تمامی 355 ولسوالی های کشور را نیز تحت پوشش قرارخواهد داد.

Job Summary

Designing and planning FTTH networks, conducting site surveys, and successful implementation of FTTH projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Designing and planning the FTTH network infrastructure, including fiber routing, equipment placement, and connectivity solutions.

·      Conducting surveys and site assessments to determine the feasibility and requirements for deploying FTTH networks in various locations

·      Install and configure FTTH network all active and passive equipment.

·      Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as field survey, construction, and procurement, to ensure successful implementation of the FTTH network

·      Creating technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for FTTH network design, including detailed network layouts and construction plans.

·      Providing technical support and guidance to field technicians and other team members during the installation and testing of the FTTH network.

·      Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to source the necessary equipment and materials for the FTTH network deployment.

·      Coordinate FTTH projects schedules.

·      Any other tasks assign by his/her line manager

Job Requirements

·      Education: Minimum bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Networking, and ICTI is required.

·      Experience: Minimum three years of experience for bachelor and one-year of experience for master degree holder in the field of optical fiber network is required.

Skills Required:

·      Ability to design and plan FTTH networks, considering factors like coverage area, capacity, and network architecture.

·      Proficiency in fiber optic technology, including knowledge of fiber types, connectors, splicing, and testing.

·      Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting network issues, identifying faults, and implementing appropriate solutions.

·      Strong documentation and reporting skills to maintain accurate records of network designs, site surveys, and project progress.

·      Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams, contractors, and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

·      Knowledge of FTTH network technologies (GPON, EPON, XGPON, 10GEPON …).

·      Knowledge on FTTH Active and Passive equipment.

·      Extensive experience on Incident and problem management.

·      Self-disciplined, self-motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize time effectively.

·      Able to travel and work throughout the country, including remote locations
