Job Summary

This job requires the incumbent to work in efficient and effective manner in supporting and coordinating all program matters needed for planning, design and implementation of MELM, MTESOL and M.ED. at Faculty of Professional Education and Faculty of Language and Literature of Shaheed Rabani Education University. The incumbent is required to work in close consultation with the Deans of relevant Faculties, Senior Manager for Graduate Education of USWDP, GEC Director, and with the members of M.ED. MTESOL and MELM Masters Board Committees and members of Graduate Education Steering Committee of SREU. The incumbent is expected to work with full commitment, personal integrity and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the GEC Director & relevant Program Coordinators in implementing programs activities.
Provide effective support to USWDP Senior Graduate Manager with program activities.
Coordinate and perform specialized data processing tasks for the GEC, as defined by program needs and contractual requirements.
Prepare documents reviewed by Steering Committee during GEC meetings.
Coordinate & facilitates all financial needs of GEC with USWDP and GEC.
Support sending and delivering official letters, notes, memos, and other materials as needed.
Keep records of internal finances and initiate procurement paperwork.
Support preparation of Faculty training materials.
Liaise with GEC stakeholders (MoHE, MBCs, SREU, Etc.)
Support the organization of program events such as trainings, seminars, conferences.
Database creation and updating database for the records of GEC students. Prepare invoices for Steering Committee and GEC/SREU staff monthly.
Take minutes of GEC meetings.
Coordinating computers, electronics and generator maintenance reports with SREU Service and Maintenance team/USWDP and local contractors
Follow up of letters in the ministry levels especially MoHE regarding GEC
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements


BA in English language

Excellent knowledge of English and Computer skills

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team and think strategically and critically about the role of information in achieving project objectives.

Ability to resolve problems and manage a variety of activities with multiple deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and client relations skills.

Excellent verbal, written, presentation and editing skills in English, Dari and Pashtu.

Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize work.

Ability to work effectively, both, independently and in a team unit, and supervise the entire unit
