Duties & Responsibilities

- Should be able to understand the idioms and phrases related to the field of Geo.
Engineering.
- Should be able to translate/ interpret the technical information regarding the different type of minerals.
- Should be able to translated /interpret information regarding minerals, water and energy resources.
- Should be able to translate /interpret information regarding mapmaking technologies, Geosciences information.
- Should be able to translate/interpret information during technical capacity building , and training sessions.
- Should have a back group information regarding collaborative fieldwork of drilling and coring , Satellites remote sensing, airborne geophysics and seismic surveys.

- Should have information regarding extensive studies in ground and surface water quality and quantity.
- Should have information regarding the Geographic Information System (GIS), Geologic and topographic maps, Satellites imagery systems.

- Should be able to translate/interpret the idioms and phrases regarding coal, oil, natural gas , minerals , water sources , earthquakes and any ecosystem management strategies.

- Should be able translate /interpret other variety supporting activities related to country reconstruction.
- Should be able to translate the collected data of all Geological survey to identify several high potential area for mineral formation for the Government of Afghanistan. This will support mineral development in the country.
- Must be able to travel to the remote areas.
- Should be able to conduct any other assigned task.

Job Requirements

- Should have a degree in Geological Engineering.

- Should able to read /write and speak English and Dari fluently .

- Should have at least 3 years of experience in the related field of Geological Surveys.
