Job Summary

AWISTA Knowledge Village requires the services of a high caliber German Instructor to
provide customized German language training to AKV clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the German Instructor are as follows but not limited to:
 Design curriculum and learning plan in support of the Chief Instructor;
 Develop customized curriculum in support of the learning requirements of our clients;
 Provide one on one or group instruction;
 Report to duty promptly during assigned hours;
 In consultation with Chief Instructor design lesson plan for the assigned course(s);
 Ensure all instructional media is prepared and posted prior to trainee arrival;
 Start class on time and run classes for the entire time allotted by the schedule;
 Post and verbalize classroom rules to enforce understanding and rules as stipulated in
Quality Control Plan (QCP) in order to maintain good order and discipline in the
classroom;
 Perform all administration tasks associated with the assignment as well as other
associated tasks as requested by the line supervisor.

Job Requirements

 At least a BA Degree and professional German language training;
 3-5 years of work experience in teaching German in a recognized organizations;
 Must have a thorough understanding of teaching concepts and methodology;
 Be highly organized, analytical, and able to flourish in a changing environment;
 Good understanding of administrative and management principles;
 Must be fluent in German , Dari, and Pashto.
