Duties & Responsibilities

1. The candidate will be responsible for translation of German Serials/Materials into Dari.
2. The candidate will be expected to render accurate and professional translation of documents in German, English and Dari languages.
3. The candidate will be prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
4. The candidate may also be required to do the verbal translation services in meetings and conferences.
5. Proofread, edit, revise and translate materials for printed media and web.
6. Any other related tasks assigned by the Head of the Department.

Job Requirements

- At least 2 years relevant experience in the related field.
- Excellent writing skills, commitment, honesty and integrity in art of translation and ensure consistency of the translated documents with the original ones.
- Experience in translating, interpreting, copywriting and editing.
- Excellent German, English and Dari languages skills. Pashto language capability would be an added advantage.
- Professional, business-minded, flexible, mature and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
- The successful candidate should be proficient in using the internet for research purposes.
