The GPE communication and coordination focal point will be established in General Education Directorate at MoE to serve as a communicating and coordinating body to integrate, strengthen and enhance the efforts and activities of the GPE program in the country. The objectives are to consolidate, coordinate, improve and support the activities of all relevant stakeholders relevant to the GPE program in the ministry of Education to ensure that GPE related activities have a dedicated communication and coordination focal point as well as to ensure the successful implementation of the program countrywide.
The GPE Senior Coordinator National Level will also serve to communicate with development partners on the progress of the program and report to DPs and MoE leadership. The incumbent will also monitor and evaluate the GPE program implementation in terms of financial and budgeting and will work with MoE and DPs finance and procurement teams in close coordination.
The Senior Coordinator will also develop, review and disseminate official communication related to GPE program both internally and externally. He/ She will also develop guidelines, strategies and other documents related to and important for the successful implementation of GPE intervention.
The GPE Senior Coordinator National Level will perform the following duties:
1. Lead and coordinate the entire GPE intervention in the Ministry of Education, coordinate the development of guidelines, action plans and manuals from MoE, and communicate it to stakeholders ensuring coherent GPE outreach and messages.
2. Ensure that there are strong linkages established between the MoE/GE and GPE’s developing country partners, that is critical to the success of GPE’s constituency-model structure
3. should facilitate communication and coordination within the ministry as well as with other members of the constituency, including consolidating comments on the documents and decisions that are circulated by the Secretariat;
4. Monitor and participate in communications between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance and other stakeholders on GPE-related matters;
5. Work closely with the Development and implementing partners to ensure the successful implementation of GPE interventions in the country according to the agreed timeline and operation plan.
6. Coordinate with provincial MoE teams and GPE grant agents to get reports, collect data and monitor the progress and prepare dashboard for MoE and GPE leadership.
7. Ensure that Capacity building and training workshops, events, and awareness campaigns are conducted as planned
8. Arrange, follow up, and report internal coordination to make sure all related Departments and directorates are in the same page which will facilitate the consistent and smooth implementation of GPE program.
9. Monitor the implementation and evaluate progress and results in accordance with operational plan
10. Ensure communication from provincial teams and district levels are handled and responded to according to the established communication mechanism.
11. Develops a comprehensive GPE program-coordination work plan to assist the achievement of MoE overall goals and objectives set for GPE program.
12. Coordinate meetings on GPE related matters among MoE leadership, donors, and other stakeholders.
13. Any other task assigned to him/her.

2. GPE Communication Strategy countrywide developed
3. Communication and Reporting Mechanism, format and guidelines and line up developed and presented.
4. DP and IPs communication and coordination plan developed and implemented.
Education
• Bachelor or Masters. degree in Public or Business Administration, Public Policy, Education Management, Social Science, or any other related field.
Experience
• At least 5 years of professional experience with a Master. Degree and 7 years of professional experiences with a Bachelor degree.

Supervision: The GPE Senior Coordinator National Level will be reporting to the Director-General Education and Deputy Minister Education Directorate.
