Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer & Videographer has to work on a variety of products, including website promotional content, designing brochures, organizational profiles, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, content advertising, corporate identity, filming, editing and delivering outstanding video and graphic to give organizations a visual 'brand' to the clients.

As the nature of this job suggests, a successful applicant has to be a multi-tasker who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines without constantly having to be supervised. He/she would be required to work with SAMO Business team while also working with the Online team as well as the Operations team simultaneously. Most of his/her work is done on computer using specialized industry-standard graphics and multimedia software packages.

Graphic designer and Videographer usually works 40 hours a week, Sunday to Thursday. Extra hours are common, especially to meet critical project deadlines, so a successful incumbent must be willing to work outside of the official hours if necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Required to develop organizational profiles as per request working closely with the Management and other departments;
 Required to design brochures, ID cards, business cards, billboards, posters, banners, calendars, letterheads, customized envelopes, etc.;
 Required to design web-based collateral for SAMO website, email, and social media;
 Required to produce and edit video projects using Adobe Premiere Pro (Dialogue cutting, editing consultant and trouble-shooter)
 Required to be able to do encoding & delivering video content for web/DVD/broadcast
 Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, which may include working outside of office hours and occasionally on weekends

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

College degree in graphic designing or equivalent amount of professional experience;

Must be comfortable working with various up-to-date graphic design software programs and videography software programs;

Proven knowledge/experience in graphic designing and producing/ editing video using industry leading applications (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
Skills required

Should have the willingness to work alone and with teams;

Must be dedicated and committed to work;

Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas;

Highly proficient in all design aspects

Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines under pressure;

Knowledge of the English language would be a plus;
