Job Summary

The HR Manager for Mobile Money is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions related to the ABMMC (Afghan Besim Mobile Money Company). This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the division's objectives and ensure the effective management of talent within the Mobile Money team. The HR Manager will work closely with senior management and business leaders to drive employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development initiatives within ABMMC.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the Mobile Money objectives and business needs.
  2. Lead talent acquisition efforts for Mobile Money, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding of new employees.
  3. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development.
  4. Drive employee engagement initiatives within the Mobile Money team, including employee recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and team-building activities.
  5. Collaborate with the HR team and other departments to ensure alignment of HR processes and practices across the company.
  6. Oversee compensation and benefits programs for Mobile Money employees, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in HR management, with a focus on talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Experience working in the mobile money, financial services, or telecom sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to the Mobile Money industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach to HR management.
