Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Officer to support and develop our human resources policies and procedures. The HR Officer will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support the recruitment process: posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate training and development programs.
  • Handle employee queries and resolve issues related to employment, compensation, benefits, and company policies.
  • Assist with performance management procedures and employee evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR systems and procedures.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives such as wellness programs, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement activities.

Job Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Management, or a related field.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as HR officer or other HR position.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • Ability to travel to other provinces.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Professional and innovative.
  • Smooth and discipline.
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English (written and spoken).
