Duties & Responsibilities

1. Carrying out site surveys
2. Providing technical guidance to colleagues and to other teams
3. Finding creative solutions to the challenges of network design, mobile communications, data service requirements, internet and network signaling protocols
4. Liaising with internal and external suppliers;
5. Working in extremely pressured and hostile environment to meet daily challenges and tight schedule.
6. Re-writing or modifying processes to ensure all aspects of the service run smoothly and on schedule
7. Report to Direct Supervisor about the engineering implementation progress.
8. Other given tasks by Team Supervisor

9. Any other duties as assigned by the implementation manager/Implementation Engineer

Supervisor / Leadership / Managerial Tasks:

1. Providing technical guidance to colleagues and to other teams

2. Liaise on site configurations and settings with other departments (maintenance, BSS, NSS and others) in keeping the site functional and on-air

Role Dependencies: 1. Role dependencies are with procurement, planning, RF, microwave and with Site installation departments/teams

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunication/computer science

Competencies:

1. Able to speak English, Pashto and Dari Languages

2. Able to travel to all over Afghanistan including restive provinces which may last up to a month

3. Being able to work independently, sustain the pressure to achieve the assigned targets.

Skills / physical comptencies:

1. Able to travel to all over Afghanistan including restive provinces which may last up to a month

2. Being able to work independently, sustain the pressure to achieve the assigned targets

3. Mediation skills to resolve the configurations issues with planning, RA, Site installation in order to get the job done
