At present, it is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Infrastructure Engineer at its National Program Office Kabul – Afghanistan

Job Summary:
To keep a high level of competence in survey, design and implementation of different rural infrastructure projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support regional engineering teams in technical survey of different infrastructure projects (Building, Bridge, Road/Culvert, Protection wall, WATSAN, MHP etc.).
• Prepare detail quantity and cost estimation of different infrastructure projects (Building, Bridge, Road/Culvert, Protection wall, WATSANMHP etc.).
• Prepare bid document (Specification, Bill of Quantities etc.)
• Participate in Bid evaluation in the regions.
• Supervising and monitoring the construction works (quality control).
• Coordinate and provide technical support to regional engineering teams on implementation of different infrastructure projects.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Participate in project planning discussions and give valuable inputs at various stages like survey, structural analysis, estimations and implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years work experience in surveying, estimating and costing, tendering/contracting and quality control of different infrastructure projects (Building, Bridge, Road, Protection walls, WATSAN etc.).
• Good knowledge in MS Word and Excel. The ability to read drawings in AutoCAD format is essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in English language.
