Program Description
AUWSSC Internship Program is open to students and graduates from both government and private university with a background in finance and general management, or in other fields relevant to such as human resources, economics, communications, information technology etc.
The AUWSSC Internship Program supports AUWSSC mission to promote innovation and creativity for the economic, social and cultural development of all countries through a balanced and effective systems, enabling interns to learn about the core values and give inputs in initiatives of AUWSSC.
The AUWSSC Internship Program provides an opportunity for interns to complement their educational experience and to develop their professional skills and experience through participation in work in government context. AUWSSC also benefits from the contributions of interns, who bring fresh perspectives and knowledge of the latest research in their specialist fields.
The length of this internship program is between two months. The internships may be extended if justified by the specific needs of the employing program.
Finance Internees:
Assist with month-end financial reports
Post journal entries
Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
Assist with audits
Balance sheet reconciliation
Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
Manage the monthly tracking of our physical inventory
Support the payment processing team
Data entry
Credit checks
HR Internees:
Assisting Recruitment Officer for the recruitment and selection process of 5 planned vacancies
Assisting the installation and data entry of HR Data base for the planned 2 SBUs (Strategic Business Unit)
Organizing Employee Personal Files
Tracking the HR Database for Head Quarter Employees
Updating filling system with modern system of filling
Qualifications
Relevant academic qualifications (minimum BA graduate or in final year is required)
Research skills and ability to digest, analyse, and synthesise information.
Excellent writing and editing skills; Dari and Pashto. English is preferred by not required
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent design and problem solving skill
