Translation of documents such as application forms and website text etc to/from English, Pashto and Dari.
Translating and interpreting at meetings and events to/from English, Pashto and Dari.
Translation/interpreting is accurate and undertaken/completed by agreed deadlines.
Language used is appropriate for the target audience.
Any other related duties assigned by the line manager
All applicants should:
A. Be a high school graduate
B. Have a very high level of English language proficiency and be fluent in Dari and Pashto
C. Good organisational skills
D. Two years experience in a similar role (Interpretation/translation) in the civil society sector.
E. Skilled in use of vocabulary and conversational style of the civil society/development sector in all three languages
F. Be able to work flexibly hours
G. Be able to travel within Afghanistan if required
