Making inventory of equipment, furniture according to
Internews policies and USAID regulations

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain a reliable and efficient inventory system.
• Manage Internews food and non food stock.
• To receive the items from procurement officer of supplier.
• To register items in the inventory and tagging after reception
• Keeping clean and well arranged of stock.
• To help with load and unload un-pack and pack the minor goods receiving and releasing.
• Make physical check and count of stocked and in use items and making sure that are matching with inventory.
• Familiar with USAID guidelines on allowable and unallowable expenses as they related to program supplies.
• Assists, as needed other Internews staff fulfilling the inventory forms.
• Maintain inventory filling system according to the Internews Policy.
• Manage and maintain all partners’ radio stations inventory record in an accurate manner.
• Report lost and damaged equipment, furniture to operations manager or his designee.
• Putting label on all non-consumable gears which are not labeled yet.
• Ensure that the inventory list for HQ and field office is update on monthly basis.
• Maintain and develop a reliable system for the stock record.
• Ensure timely delivery of requested equipment to all related departments and radio stations if required.
• Clearance for departures of staff.
• Ensure items are stacked appropriately, so that they are off the wall, on pallets and protected from moisture and insects within a minimum of space.
• Be sure that the piles are countable at any moment and put the quantity on the pile.
• Assist operation manager for managing the new offices set up for new staff.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Graduated 12 grade preferred or equivalent experience/ University degree preferred
• Good written communication skills in Dari and English.
• Ability to think strategically and solve problems.
• Ability to use own initiative, common sense and act quickly on issues.
• A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
· Familiarities with Inventory Bans can system
