Afghanistan Holding Group is looking for ISP Technician responsible for the installation and support/maintenance of internet service clients. Your primary focus will be site installation, network implementation and integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside engineers and other team members working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the ISP Technician are outlined as follows:
Weekly visiting the clients for maintenance
Visiting TV-Hill for maintenance issues
Site installation (Able to find the open channel-frequencies according to the locations)
Fiber splicing
Microwave devises installation with different frequencies
Creating local-IPs on CCR
Subnet live-IPs
Should be able to setup Point to Point and Point to Multipoint (able to install different PtP devices)
Provide full support to the clients
Analyze and isolate network issues
Determine network system and requirements to provide the best recommendations
On-call/email support to clients
Once a week night shift
Public IP implementation
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative and original ideas to technology, algorithms, and product
Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT:
Comply with personal legal liabilities and fiduciary requirements of diligence and care in carrying out the duties of AHG.
Act honestly in all the affairs of AHG and avoid conflict of interest and, should this arise, it must be declared.
Education:
Bachelor in Computer Science (Network)
Experience:
At least 2-3 year of professional experience in ISP network platform
Enough knowledge of Mikrotik CCR configurations
Enough knowledge of Microwave devices
Professional knowledge of Cacti / MRTG graph implementation
Enough knowledge with SNMP
Enough knowledge of Point to point devices, Ubiquiti / InfiNet etc
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Enough knowledge of CISCO hierarchical campus design.
Enough knowledge of EIGRP, Route Redistribution.
Enough knowledge of VLAN, Trucking Protocol and technologies at Enterprise Switching environment.
Enough knowledge of Cisco devices including Cisco ASA, Next Generation Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless AP,
Enough knowledge of routing protocols.
Enough Knowledge of Cisco Switching technologies.
Maintain complex switching environments
Results oriented, team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle numerous incidents and clients.
Enough knowledge of frequencies
Familiarity with continuous integration
