Job Summary

Under supervision of Admin/HR deputy Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the IT duties and assisting Admin/HR Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

In IT Title:
•Installation, Maintenance and Trouble shooting of TM Local area Networks (wired/wireless)
•Installation, maintenance and troubles shooting of MS.Windows DHCP, File, Print, Anti virus, Mail, and Web servers;
•Maintenance and Upgrade of two TM domains (email accounts, websites, FTPs etc)
•Creation, deletion, and trouble shooting of email accounts for TM users (outlook, Thunderbird, and MAC mail).
•Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of personal Computers (MACs and PCs) desktops and laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, UPS, and Power regulators.
•Keeping track of and coordination of IT inventory and asset list with the logistic and Admin departments.
•Perform IT Administrative tasks including creation of user accounts, Shared folders, passwords on the Centos Based DHCP server.
•Performing incremental and appended backups of multiple servers (Linux/Windows), Shared Drives, and individual personal computers in the main and site offices on regular basis.
•Regular maintenance, cleanup and management of RAID 5 based shared Drives.
•Monitor and report the internet uplink for proper bandwidth and traffic flow.
•Development and implementation of a comprehensive IT policy and introduction of other IT rules and procedures.
•Development and implementation of IT capacity building programs and courses for the employees.
•Supervise and advise on the computer training program.
•Provide regular reports and feed backs to the management and supervisor on all duties, functions and progress in all IT related matters.
•Also perform other general managerial and super-visional duties on all IT matters;

In Admin Officer Title:
•To Assist Admin /HR manager in administrative activities but not limited to:
•Maintain and monitor staff monthly attendance sheets and leave record.
•Provide and design ID cards and business cards for staff;
•Collecting staff flight tickets from relevant agencies.
• To assist Admin/HR Deputy manager in process of visas and other legal documentation.
• Ensure the visitors register book is being maintained in all Concern premises.
•Ensure all items in the Store are recorded on the Stock sheets;
•Report any shortages or discrepancies in the records immediately to your line manager.
•Take overall responsibility for preparing and updating the inventory list in Kabul, and submit the report on a quarterly basis.
•Any other task assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements

•At least 2 years experience in relevant position with national and international NGOs/Companies.
•University degree in IT or Computer Science (BCS, BIT) or equivalent other education/experience.
•Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English languages;
•Excellent communication skills.
•Able to travel to other provinces of country if required.
•Able to work with a Team as a team player under the pressure and flexible in working hours.
•Ability to learn quickly, strong self-training;
