AFGHANISTAN INDUSTRIES, MINES & INVESTMENT HIGH COUNCIL (AIMIC), Multi Location
Afghanistan Industries, Mines and Investment High Council for the defense of right and interests of private sector of Afghanistan was established in 2017, it’s a strategic center for solidarity of private sector capacities for investment in Afghanistan and abroad
(Out of borders of Afghanistan), and it is a bridge between government and private sector for facilities.
AIMIC has two types of formations:
The first one is board directors that consist of 25 persons whose are traders and investors in the industry, agriculture, mines and services sectors in Afghanistan,
Mr. Jaffar Hamid national businessman and owner of jalat khan cigarette Production Company is the chairman of board director,
The second kind of formation is the presidency of executive of AIMIC which is leading by Mr. Mohammad Shabir Bashiry as CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
AIMIC has gotten its license from the Ministry of Justice of Afghanistan the activity license number is (3115)
The major activities of AIMIC is centralized on investments attraction, absorption and protection of investors.
AIMIC creates programs and plans by analyzing the situation, specifying the venerable point of investments and then proposes as a package of persuasive and supportive to the government in order to attraction and support of investors.
Second, based on the strategy of the AIMIC we believe that the comparative advantages and opportunities are diverse in each country, therefor we have regular travels in order to explore investment opportunities in different countries of the world for increasing Afghans investment, especially in central Asia.
AIMIC in implementation of principles of market economy has commitment and in context of (Net Capital Export) has strategic efforts.
Afghanistan industries, Mines and Investment high Council, believes in the creation and management of common interests especially with the neighbors of Afghanistan, and AIMIC is interested in expansion of trade and investment with the neighbors of Afghanistan,
AIMIC financial resources secured by membership fees of members and some charges of services which provides for private sector.
The members of AIMIC are classified in to two categories that includes union members and individual members, the union members of AIMIC are (the unions which are engaged in setting of production, agricultural, services and mines sectors, such as stone industry union, poultry union complex of industry etc.
Individual members of AIMIC are businessmen/women firms and investors which have license of activity from ministry of commerce of Afghanistan.
The level of investment of union and individual members of AIMIC is about 2.5 billion dollars in Afghanistan and AIMIC efforts to increase the foreign investment of its members for using the potential opportunities of abroad,
The foreign policy of AIMIC is centralized on expansion of strategic relationships based on investments on comparative advantages and persuasive policies,
In making of such relationships AIMIC will not hesitate from any efforts and commitments.
The basic section of AIMIC foreign policy is to create common interests and has strong commitment on the related issues.
The internal policy of AIMIC is centralized on expansion of branches in all over of Afghanistan for setting of investment issues,
In vision of AIMIC the Establishing of industrial development bank, Export development bank and Agricultural development bank is include, and for reaching to this goal the Mission of AIMIC has been designed in to three levels, the short term plans which is operational, mid-term plans which is on based of negotiations and long term plans which is designed for obtaining the fund for establishing the mentioned banks, AIMIC believes that for having a national package for attraction of investments in Afghanistan the establishing of mentioned banks are necessary therefor Afghanistan industries, Mines and investment high council (AIMIC) has strategic efforts for reaching to the mentioned goal.
The position holder will directly report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Design AIMIC Members Registration Cards in Coral Draw, solve hardware and software problems of the office, update AIMIC Members Registration Cards. Register Members of the AIMIC and keep update Registration file and member’s information
1. Writing formal letters to local and international organization.
2. Design AIMIC Members Registration Cards in Coral Draw.
3. Solve hardware and software problems of the office
4. Update AIMIC Members Registration Cards.
5. Register Members of the AIMIC and keep update Registration file and member’s information
6. Registration of incoming letters/Out Going Letters
7. Preparing the daily and Monthly expense list
8. Preparing Monthly salary Report
9. Establish and maintain a filing system,
10. Register Members of the AIMIC and keep update Registration file and members information,
11. Submitting weekly and monthly work report to the CEO.
12. Any other task assigned by her direct supervisor.
Completion of higher education is preferable in a related field such as Computer Science, Business Management, Education, Law, and Economics
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in field of IT and Computer Operation
Knowledge of PC Software (i.e. MS Office, Coral Draw, Photo shop, Internet and any other Design Programs);
At least 2 Years’ Experience in Coral Draw, IT and Designing
To be able solve Hardware and Software issues
Excellent English, Dari & Pashto communication skills, written and spoken;
Able to adjust herself with different environments;
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of PC Software (i.e. MS Office, Coral Draw, IT, Trouble Shouting)
