Job Summary

To provide a framework by which fresh graduated from university maybe assigned to AIMS offices, where their education experience could be enhanced through practical work assignment.
Interns will be trained by doing the actual work under the direct supervision of a coach, or department team, and according to their job descriptions.
In order to analyze and understand the interns improvements, each individual Intern will be given to a Pre-Assessment Test at the beginning of his/her assignment and a Post-Assessment Test at the end of his/her assignment by ICT Department.
Extension to next assignment is strongly based on the Assessment Results, and ICT Department Recommendation.

Duties & Responsibilities

The intern will work under general supervision of ICT Department, and will be stationed in different departments of AIMS based in Kabul. Intern will be responsible for the following activities, but not limited to:

Assist in Troubleshooting of AIMS Local Area Network in Kabul including Internet, servers, web, and software troubleshooting.

Hardware and software installation and configurations.

Upgrading client computer software and hardware under the supervision of the ICT administrator.

Assist in Setup and maintaining of the ICT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers and plotters, Scanner.

Antivirus scanning and upgrading windows and Antivirus software.

Monitor and maintain a record of internet bandwidth usage

Making the inventory of IT Equipment and maintain the inventory database on regular basis

Recording of all ICT official documents in relevant folders.

Provide support to the implementation of standard ICT policies and strategies.

Job Requirements

Fresh University graduate in a relevant field;

Diploma in IT;

Knowledge of Pashto, Dari and English;

No work experience is required;
