We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our team in Mazar-i-Sharif. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the IT department in Mazar-i-Sharif. This newly created role is responsible for improving and maintaining our current IT setup.
Overall responsibility for the IT Helpdesk, including leading and developing the Helpdesk Administrator
Creating an engaging and challenging work environment processes
Being the first point of contact for all IT enquiries
Ensuring system availability of >95%
Assisting the Senior IT Manager with the implementation of the IT Strategy and new technologies
Disaster recovery planning, testing and maintenance
Maintenance and back-ups
The ideal candidate:
With previous experience as an IT Manager, the ideal candidate must have:
Relevant tertiary degree
At least 5-10 years of experience in IT with at least 2 years in a management role
Strong hands on experience with Networking/hardware and Software
Must have CCNA or CCNP or MCITP or CATRIX
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
Strong leadership and ability to develop a high performance team
Detailed understanding of ITIL and Service Desk Management, ideally with previous ITIL implementation experience
