Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced L3 CS CORE Support Engineer to join our team, specializing in Ericsson nodes. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Level 3 technical support for CS CORE network elements, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of Ericsson nodes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, and Network Engineering, to resolve complex technical issues and improve service delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for Ericsson CS CORE network elements, including MSC, MGW, HLR/HSS, STP, and related platforms.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve escalated issues related to network performance, capacity, and configuration.
  3. Incident Management: Lead efforts in incident management, including root cause analysis and corrective actions to minimize impact on service.
  4. Change Management: Implement and oversee changes to the CS CORE network, ensuring adherence to best practices and minimizing service disruptions.
  5. Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize network performance parameters to meet SLA requirements and enhance customer experience.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive hands-on experience 8 years in supporting Ericsson CS CORE network elements, with deep knowledge of protocols such as SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, Diameter, etc.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in CS CORE networks.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, capacity planning, and performance management.
  • Experience with tools for network monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting (e.g., OSS-RC, NetAct, Wireshark).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ericsson Certified Core Network Professional (ECP).
  • Experience in virtualized and cloud-based environments for CS CORE networks.
  • Familiarity with Core network architecture and protocols.
