Job Summary

This position holder oversees license renewals, handles inquiries and official correspondence, supports legal matters, obtains official clearances, engages in lobbying efforts, drafts and updates company policies, provides compliance training, reviews contracts for risks, manages control systems, guides on legal matters, ensures financial compliance, and conducts corporate governance activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Obtain, Renew, modify, and amend all MOAM Afghanistan licenses, Trademarks, sectorial licenses, etc. 
• Type formal and informal inquiries (estehlams) and official letters (maktubs) and responses to such letters in either Pashtu or Dari languages.
• 3. Deliver responses to and obtain responses from various public and private entities and institutions for formal and informal inquiries.
• Make sure MOAM's overall operation is complained about.
• Draft, update, and administer company policies, SOPs, and procedures.
• Draft, Review and finalize the required contracts with MOAM stakeholders.
• Carry out corporate governance activities and initiatives; risk assessment and management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor in LL.B, Sharia law or related fields 
• 2-3 years of progressive work experience in legal and compliance or audit practice and have good knowledge of and familiarity with the Afghan laws
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to communicate in English and Dari or Pashto
