Job Summary

This is a full-time position commencing immediately. The incumbent will work with the Corporate Services and will report to the head of Corporate Services. He/she will provide legal support to MTN Afghanistan. Extendable on six month basis job, following successful pass of the three month probation period. The incumbent shall be considered as agent hired on service, not employee of MTN, and shall not bind or attempt to bind the other Party to any such contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Direct representation in all kinds of civil, commercial and criminal cases before the courts of law
2. Litigation in all kinds of civil, commercial cases and criminal charges
3. Arbitration
4. Writing legal documents in all kinds of civil, commercial and criminal charges
5. Revision, advice and comparison of all kinds of the contracts
6. Certification of the contracts
7. Registration of the contracts in courts of law
8. Representation of clients in disputes arising from contracts
9. Consultation on tax management, analysis of tax laws and regulations and resolving and elimination of risks.
10. Registration of trademarks, inventions and spiritual properties. MTN, from time to time, may expand the scope of Services executed by the incumbent without any additional fee or making new agreement.

Job Requirements

• LL.M or LLB holder
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
