Position Summary:
Prepare logistics and support plans, project timelines and budget requirements for ongoing and new projects. Develop logistical plans for existing projects’ develop logistics contingency plans, develop plans for downsizing, develop and implement methodologies and tools to enable effective execution of logistic plans, formulate Standard Operating Procedures, manage logistics operations, including materials, ensure timely, accountable and cost-effective material delivery , coordinate logistics activities with procurement and finance departments, develop and implement logistics support policy, procedures and methodologies to the common benefit of all Ti projects.
Prepare reports on personnel and material movements and other operational logistics issues, plan and manage special logistics operations, ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are maintained, prepare logistics preparedness reviews.
Guide and supervise the work of new/junior logistics officers or staff, assume responsibilities of certifying officer upon request and perform other related tasks as required.
• Send daily report to logistics manger (Kabul)
• Report any disputes to Logistics Operations Manager
• Assist Kabul office management as tasked
• Ensure all requests for material by project team are fulfilled on time
• Responsible for overseeing all Logistical assignments and duties on site (including the material lay down area
• Assist in the development of improved logistical duties in compliance with TI policies, rules and regulations
• Responsible for development of an effective asset tracking function for all TI assets
• Ensure sufficient storage space is available for material and goods
• Support Project team to ensure productive performance
• Organize and file both soft and hard copies of all logistic documents
• Assist in the mobilization support according to Project needs
• Provide oversight, coordinate and maintain all transportation needs

ï‚§ Sanitized kitchen activities
ï‚§ Adequate kitchen supplies
• Diploma or B.B.A Degree
• working knowledge and computer skills, including MS Office Package
• Good oral and written communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto
Knowledge Skills, Work Experience and Abilities:
• Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field
• Experience developing and implementing leading edge logistics solutions
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Strong financial controls
• Proven organizing ability
