Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Doctors Without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.
· Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards
· Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager's supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor's instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices
· Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-up according to MSF standards
· Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person's task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
· Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
Management of the Technical log team:
· Ensure the technical Log team are following Log basics in their periodic and several installations follow up
· Ensure all preventive maintenance needed are done on time and according MSF standards
Management and reporting:
· Close follow up on the job requests and coordinate the work according the priorities with the team.
· Follow up on the maintenance subcontractors work bills and contracts
· Follow up on the payments: electricity, water tracking, sceptic tank cleaning….
· Ensure all technical activities planned are implemented on time.
· Prepare periodic orders for stock replenishment with the team
· Prepare International orders with the collaboration of the technical team
· Close follow up on the Preventive Maintenance Plan
· Prepare the technical documentation needed to launch any tender related to technical work to be implemented
· Being the focal point with the contractors, report at all time the progress and if any support from line manager is needed
· Report any technical problem to line manager
· Collaborate with the log base team to ensure the proper implementation of any shared activity
· Manage the daily workers and the cash advances when needed
· Prepare Internal requests and follow up on the requests with the stock keeper
· Be part of the periodic inventories
· Manage all the Tech Log reporting storage online and hard copies

Minimum Requirements and Competencies
Education
Essential secondary education and formal technical training
Experience
At least one year in MSF or 2 years in a similar post out of MSF
Languages
Mission language essential; local language desirable
Knowledge
Essential computer literacy (word, excel, outlook, teams)
TMS, Wecheck, PMP are an advantage
