We are seeking a passionate, high performing Market Development Coordinator to plan and oversee the organization’s many marketing programs and advertising and promotional campaigns. In this role you will ensure that all marketing operations meet the goals set by management in a timely manner.
To be successful, you must be an enthusiastic marketer and possess a strong knowledge of marketing techniques and principles. You will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in developing and managing a broad range of marketing programs. Candidates with a positive, assertive approach to business will be most successful in this position.
As Market Development Coordinator, you will assist NEI staff in managing the marketing aspects of NEI’s many programs and activities, including but not limited to the following:
Ensure that the look and messaging of all marketing materials produced support the NEI and Nutriana brands.
Look for opportunities to maximize NEI and Nutriana brand promotion in all marketing and publicity programs.
Research and establish new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships. Visit both existing and new potential customers, check product inventory levels, and report back to management on product performance;
Where appropriate, develop Nutriana marketing materials and advertising campaigns for specific customer groups including institutional buyers, wholesalers and retailers.
Support NEI’s business partners in their efforts to market the soy products produced in their processing facilities;
Continually develop and implement innovative ways to successfully communicate the Nutriana message to its customer base.
Contribute to the development of the annual sales and marketing plan.
Identify, schedule, and manage promotional events (trade shows, expos,) and evaluate their success;
Conduct both qualitative and quantitative market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth, collaborating with an outside research firm when needed.
Conduct product taste test research with consumers and share findings with Food Technology team for needed product modification and improvement;
Support the Marketing Officers in day-to-day marketing activities;
Plan, develop and deliver campaigns to meet agreed to budget and schedule.
Draft press releases for key events.
Work with the Sales and Food Technology teams to develop and bring new soy products to market.
At least 5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in the private sector.
University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant field.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; Outlook).
Excellent written and spoken Dari, Pashto and English
