Job Summary

Marketers are responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote brands, products and services, maximizing profits for the bank. They monitor trends and develop pricing strategies and advertising campaigns. As a Digital Marcom Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up, executing, and analyzing the performance of local digital marcom campaigns and digital activities to support digital lead generation and brand positioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.     Regularly develop content and story ideas aligned with AIB branch positioning; market insights, expert commentary, financial trends, personal finance tips and how AIB is responding to customer needs.

2.     Develop influencer strategy and creative campaign ideas how to promote AIB through potent influencers with MARCOM Team.

3.     Work with influencers to create content that naturally integrates AIB’s services or products. These can be informative posts, stories about personal finance management or experience using the bank’s services.

4.     To keep employees informed and engaged, regularly communicate with employees about PR efforts, company updates, and CSR initiatives through newsletters or internal emails. (Employees are naturally the top candidates to be the branch ambassadors of AIB)

5.     Develop proposals for relationship building events with NGOs locally or globally.

6.     Develop partnership ideas with local or educational institutions to offer financial literacy programs or scholarships.

7.     Create comprehensive marketing communication plans that align with the company’s objectives and target audience.

8.     Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, website content, newsletters, and social media posts.

9.     Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels and platforms, and monitor brand perception.

10. Manage media relations and develop press releases to communicate company news and achievements.

11. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize online presence and engagement through SEO, PPC, and social media.

12. Plan and execute marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.

13. Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.

14. Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

15. Track Marketing performance against targets, analyze results, and prepare regular reports for management. Ensure targets are met or exceeded.

16. Collect feedbacks from clients and report to the higher level for decision-making.

17. Maintain operational records and reports properly.

18. Come up with new ways to grow the bank’s products and services.

19. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through tailored financial solutions and excellent service.

Shall carry out any official work delegated by Line Manager.

Job Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS       

-      Bachelor’s degree in Economic, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

-      Excellent in English and local languages, ability to work with Computer.

-      Should be smart enough to explain product details to customers.

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

-      Experience (5+ years) in Marketing, Business Development or Sales Management preferably in Banking sector.

-      Comprehensive understanding of business banking products and services.

-      Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (Dari, Pashto, English).

-      Ability to identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions.

-      Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

-      Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and manage time.

-      Decision-making skills.

-      Strong leadership and team management abilities.

-      Proven Customer Service skills.

-      A deep understanding of the product or service being sold.

-      Negotiation skills.
