In Afghanistan, Equal Access has a proven record of implementing on-the-ground programming involving a range of community actors. In the south and east of Afghanistan, we have consistently involved women as listening circle participants. Our programming and work is distinguished by its linguistic, ethnic and geographical reach and diversity. We are looking to hire a Media & Public Relation Specialist ( see detailed needs bellow) . 

Job Summary

·        Develop media contents (News, Articles) in local and English languages

·        Facilitate publications and regional media

·        Coordination of regional & national radio/TV talk shows.

·        Conduct and facilitate roundtables with key journalist/editor in Kabul and regional level

·        Develop media crises management protocols in consultation with donor and official from government counterparts.  

·        Monitor and capture of all media coverage in regional and national level.

·        Close coordination with media organizations/donor.

·        Prepare events & Media reports

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Media/ Communication, /Masters in relevant field are preferred
  • Experience in conducting public private partnership events  



  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
  • Excellent English writing skill with fluency in speaking of Dari/ Pashtu.
  • IT skills, in particular Word, PowerPoint and email and internet;

Must be able to function effectively in a fluid, loosely structured, but complex work environment and to set appropriate priorities and deal effectively with numerous simultaneous requirements
