Job Summary

The Project now seeks a dynamic and capable Medical Doctor, to be posted at the National Institute for Management and Administration, to in charge the following tasks:

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure appropriate paths to recovery are being followed.

2. Motivate adherence to therapy.

3. Being responsible for initiating the alert in case of any major medical emergency.

4. Being flexible in substituting colleague doctors operating in other Hostels if absent.

5. Advise NIMA Council on any concerned health issue.

6. Closely work with safeguard officer and recommend good ideas for keeping NIMA Institute neat and healthy.

7. Advise on and monitor capacity to work.

8. Advise the Medical Council in relation to the doctor’s situation at any time

9. To be open for discussion with all the students of NIMA.

10. Supervision of the medical/clinical components of NIMA (nutrition, outreach, TB, mental health and Hepatitis B/HCV).

11. To identify training needs of the paramedical staff in collaboration to the Nurse.

12. To advise the Nurse mentor in charge on the development of training modules.

13. To carry out minor surgical operations if required.

14. To regularly keep an eye on the outbreak surveillance in place and to act accordingly.

Job Requirements

1. Candidates for the position will have a university degree in Medical MBBS, from recognized University.

2. Additional qualifications would be assets.

3. A minimum of 4 Years of experience is required.

4. Able to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities.

5. Able to work independently or as a team member.

6. Knows computer Ms. Office Package.

7. Excellent communication skills in English, Pashto and Dari languages
