Job Summary

·        Supervision and monitoring of field activities performed by field technicians, vendors or customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Perform sites survey to check LOS and other requirement of transmission link.

·        Equipment collection from warehouse as per approved BOM.

·        Installation & Commissioning of Transmission links in accordance with the approved plan. 

·        Proper and regular reporting of all field activities.

·        Perform field operations based on NOC escalation.

·        Perform any preventive or corrective maintenance as advised by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical /Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Science with 2 years of practical experience in the implementation and operations of MW and IP transmission network.

·        Hands-on experience on Transmission equipment of different vendors like Huawei, Aviat, NERA, and Ericsson etc.

·        Familiar with Protocols & Network Architectures especially related to Transmission (e.g. PDH, SDH, MPLS-TP, OTN/DWDM, GPON, TDM/E1’s etc.) & Transport domains (e.g. IP, MPLS, and Ethernet etc.).

·        Adequate knowledge of MS Office package, particularly excel and power point.

·        Ability to move and work throughout the country, including remote locations.

·        Good ethical and communication skills.
