The miniature painting teacher is fully responsible to teach Miniature painting subject and manage classes based on academic standards. He/she must report from all his class related activities to the head of department, he/ she will teach miniature painting and natural color making (pigment) techniques to the 13-15 class students based on the current curriculum. He/ she as master of art will also have the responsibility to review this subject current curriculum and or produce the new one if required.
1. Teaching practical classes for natural color making (pigment)
2. Teaching miniature painting techniques,
3. Leading the students towards the high level of Art skills
4. preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes
5. marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of students’ Progress and development;
6. selecting and using a range of different learning resources and equipment;
7. undertaking pastoral duties, and supporting students on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties;
8. preparing students for qualifications and external examinations;
9. managing students behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior;
10. participating in departmental meetings and whole school training events;
11. liaising with other professionals, such as Head of Departments and education officer
12. undergoing regular observations and participating in regular on job training as part of continuing professional development
13. Teaching in the institute, which takes students aged 15-25, teaching the institute miniature painting curriculum appropriate to the age of the students.
14. Plans lessons in line with targeted objectives to ensure that students learn. He/she also encourage, monitor and record the progress of his/her students.
15. Support, observe and record the progress of his/her class. He/she also plan lessons in line with targeted objectives with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.
16. Keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and objectives. The instructor liaises and networks with other professionals, parents and careers both informally and formally.
17. Reviewing the current miniature painting curriculum and /or develop the new curriculum based on the market requirement.
18. Other tasks given by the TMI authorities or by line manager
Must be an art professor and have at least bachelor’s degree in miniature painting
Having at least 4 years of successful teaching experience in the fine art faculty or art schools
Having the best communication skill
Ability to teach courses on the collegiate level.
Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate learning
