Job Summary

The purpose of this internship is to allow interns to learn and grow professionally in the field of Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting, in addition the internship will provide each individual an opportunity to use and refine his/her skills in the above mentioned field. Harakat works to ensure that interns are well-engaged in the Harakat work community.

Duties & Responsibilities

Upon arrival at Harakat, interns are given a brief orientation introducing them the procedures and the required tools that they will need for their internship. Intern is assigned to work within Harakat communications department to support tasks that may include

Monitoring and Evaluation Intern is assigned to work on specific Harakat projects as well as support tasks primarily focusing on filling system, data collection and Report Writing. Typical tasks may include:
1. Review of all projects documents and information.
2. Data-entry of Project related information into Monitoring and Evaluation tracker.
3. Assist in filing system and archiving both in soft and hard copies.
4. Recording meeting minutes during the M&E Unit’s meeting.
5. Development of reports if needed
6. Provide assistance to M&E unit in the recording, sharing, and storage of any projects’ information as appropriate.
7. Assist with general administrative duties.
8. Any other tasks given by line manager.

Job Requirements

Education:

Fresh graduated or preferably student of (Economy, Journalism or English language literature) faculties.
Experience:

Experience in report writing.

Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel

Understanding of M&E is a plus point.

Understanding of Investment Climate Reform is a plus point.

Personal Skills & Abilities:

Relationship building and networking skills.

Excellent written communication skills in English, Dari and Pashtu languages

Ability to work in a dynamic and responsive environment.

Ability to work under pressure and respond to multiple tasks.

Team player and strong capacity of patience

Flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments

Remuneration

Interns will be entitled to a monthly stipend of Afs 7500 per month and no other additional benefits.

Experience in report writing.
