Motor Pool Dispatcher/Fleet Foreman

Duties & Responsibilities

The incumbent performs motor vehicle dispatching duties for approximately 27 Americans and 20 LE Staff employees of three agencies subscribed to motor pool services under ICASS; receiving telephone and written requests for scheduled, assigned and as-needed transportation services and dispatches chauffeurs and vehicles to meet these requests, utilizing priorities established by supervisor as necessary.

Job Requirements

Education: Completing of Secondary (High) School is required.
Experience: One year of progressive responsible experience in fleet foreman/motor pool and chauffeur with UN Offices, NGO, National or international companies, U.S. or Afghan government or western embassies is required.
Language: Level III (good working knowledge) speaking/reading in English and Dari language is required.
Knowledge: Must have a good working knowledge of the Department State regulations and procedures governing travel and vehicle safety and good working knowledge of vehicles and vehicle maintenance.
Abilities and Skills: Must have local driver’s license and be able to make minor vehicle repairs; must be good with people and sensitive to their needs.
