Job Summary

As the name suggests, multimedia producers have experience with various forms of media. These include, but are not limited to, video and still photography, video and audio editing, graphic arts and scriptwriting and interactive media. You may not be an expert in every area, but you should have a working knowledge of multiple platforms.
It\'s important to at least understand a wide range of software. You should be well versed in nonlinear video editing and the basics of video production.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare concepts and scripts for multimedia pieces.

Research and develop story ideas and prepare final story proposals for approval.

Develop production plan and schedule for assigned projects.

Coordinate with Reporters and Editors for story development.

Develop storyboards, scripts, and schematics based on project objectives.

Monitor and manage for multimedia project activities from start to finish.

Identify and assign work to Videographers, Graphic Designers, and other production staffs.

Make shooting arrangements such as identifying shooting spots, hiring crew, reserving equipment’s, and making transportation arrangements.

Manage budget, production crew, and editorial decisions.

Ensure that project meets milestones, budgetary constraints and editorial standards.

Analyze resource requirements and equipment needs for production.

Obtain approvals at every project phase for smooth and continuous production operations.

Stay updated with latest media technique, web trends and production technologies

Job Requirements

It\'s important to at least understand a wide range of software. You should be well versed in nonlinear video editing and the basics of video production.
Ability to write the script and shoot the script with cameraman.
You should have knowledge to make documentary and have plane to write script and shooting script.
Although you might delegate the hands-on editing skills to editors and assistant producers, you should have input into the final edited version of the media. If they make work that does not satisfy you, you might have them redo parts you don\'t like until you are finally happy with the outcome.



At least two years of relevant professional experience and certificates of high school.
Language(s) required:
English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Pashto and Dari.
