Job Summary

1. Assist the team leader in collecting information from line ministries at provincial and district level using questionnaires
2. The consultant will need to be proactive and confident to speak with officials and staff of ministries and NGO’s to gather necessary data for the project in both Dari and English
3. Ability to analyse budgets and financial statements
is very important for this post
4. Familiarity with public expenditure is an advantage




5. Prior experience/knowledge of sub-national
development programs is important
6. Contacts at government ministries a significant plus

Job Requirements

1. A university degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, International Affairs, Business Management;
2. 3 years of professional experience;
3. Good analytical skills and attention for detail;
4. Good written and spoken communication skills in English – both Farsi and Pashto required (both writing and spoken);
5. Self-organisational abilities with a good level of computer proficiency;
6. A mature and independent personality with strong
interpersonal, team-playing and networking skills;

7. Ability to work under pressure with the team to
meet tight deadlines;

8. Computer literate, well versed with MSOffice Suite;

9. Willing to travel in various regions of Afghanistan
if required.
