Job Summary

The Master Trainer will report to the Non-formal Education for life and Work (NFE-LW) Curriculum Development and Training Coordinator and will be mainly responsible to train the trainers. And achieve the organizational goals by implementing active learning and learner-centered system.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the improvement of teaching skills for trainers in all the STAY Positive classes.
• Develop a comprehensive plan and curriculum working with each trainer.
• Deliver teaching methodology courses for trainers in according to STAY Positive work plan which will include traveling to different training sites, leading small group workshops for each training follow-on observation of trainers in teaching settings, providing constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement, and providing additional support.
• Develop a comprehensive plan and curriculum for Instructor to provide TOT for the Instructors.
• Deliver TOT courses which are tailor-made to beginning, intermediate and advance level students, which will include travel throughout Afghanistan as required by the Project.
• Provide periodic review of TOT graduates in a teaching setting to assess their performance and provide constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement.
• Draft and provide input for monthly, quarterly, annual, and performance-based management system (PBMS) reports, ensuring appropriate inputs from local staff and/or international consultants.
• Ensure that project success stories are submitted to the STAY Positive home office within 5 days of event occurrence, including photographs where possible.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Literature or equivalent or three years practical working experience in conducting trainings and curriculum development
• Ability to work independently and deliver TOT classes
• Computer competence in MS-Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto languages
• Knowledge and experience of facilitating trainings and other learning activities
• Knowledge of over-all training, development, and capacity building
