Ghazanfar Bank, a full-fledged licensed commercial Bank, commenced its operations in March 2009. The Share Holders of the Bank belongs to one of the leading business groups of Afghanistan. Ghazanfar Bank started its operation in Kabul, Afghanistan, and is offering key financial services both under conventional and Islamic Banking. The Bank has since opened up its Branches at various key locations such as Mazar Sharif, Hairatan, Kunduz, Takhar, Pule- Khumri, Jalalabad, Herat & Kandahar besides opening another eight branches at Kabul in Sarai Shahzada, Shar-e-Naw, Karte Naw, Kote Sangi, Lase Maryam, Karte Char and Wazir Akbar Khan. In due course of time, the Bank intends to expand its Branch Network in Kabul as well as at other key locations of the Country.
NGO Relationship Manager The NGO Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) within the banking sector. This role involves understanding the unique financial needs of NGOs, providing tailored banking solutions, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
1. Retain top customers of the bank the list of which will be delegated by relevant authorities.
2. Build long term effective relationship with NGOs and Organization.
3. Work quickly to address and resolve customer issues.
4. Help Promote and maintain a positive company image.
5. Identify key staff in client’s organization to cultivate profitable relationships.
6. Relationship Manager needs to have high communication skill to understand people’s culture and the way they need to be approached.
7. Show his/her availability to preferably work 24 hours and 7 days per week.
8. Deliver best banking service to NGOs having banking relationship with the bank.
9. Resolve all complains of NGOs within less time and give them feedback and update them about the complaint addressed and the process.
10. Completing the top customers Re-KYC and other required documents as per the bank policy and procedure.
11. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and send the reports to the line manager within the approved format to inform the line manager about the customer’s feedback.
12. Develop plans for new and existing NGOs engagement in order to increase bank’s income.
a. Work with the NGO relationship manager and officers to develop NGO engagement plans and activities and independently develop quarterly plans.
b. Collaborate with the NGO relationship manager and officers to maintain good relations with key national and international NGOs; continually growing and developing a wide network of contacts in the NGO sector.
c. Keep the NGO relationship database (MIS) updated with new relationships, meetings and developments.
d. To scan the NGO sector environment and their plans to identify opportunities for further engagement and income generation.
e. Provide expertise and guidance to staff on best ways to engage people from NGOs and organizations.
f. Write proposals and pitch opportunities.
13. Manage grow Ghazanfar banks NGO membership scheme.
a. Develop and implement quarterly recruitment and retention plans to secure overall income generation from NGO membership.
b. Identify potential new members and build a prospective pipeline.
c. Develop programs and organize regular events for NGOs membered with GB, non-member NGOs.
d. Review NGO membership benefits in coordination with the NGO relationship manager and the membership team.
14. Provide support to the NGO relationship manager and other colleagues when needed.
a. Work with the external facing teams across Ghazanfar Bank to help them develop small to medium projects or activities that can win NGOs support; write proposals and pitch relevant NGO sector organizations.
15. Desk-based research to:
a. Identify areas where Ghazanfar bank could support business in their community engagement programs as part of their broader corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies.
b. Identify topics to use in regular newsletters and briefings and for the organization of regular events/seminars where our voluntary and corporate members can meet, learn and discuss on issues relevant to both sectors.
c. Provide and update relevant information on corporate membership pages of the Ghazanfar Bank website.
Any other task which is delegated by the line manager.
