Under the direct supervision of the Administration Manager, the incumbent of the position will be responsible for ensuring a clear and effective communication, receiving guests and customers and directing them to the officer and individuals they need, receipt of documents and mail from outside, distribution of the received mails to the concerned officers and individuals,
1.Greet visitors at the reception area and notify concerned staff the presence of visitor.
2.Take proper message for the person when she/he is not available.
3.Keeping track of the notice boards and always updates them.
4.Prevent crowding of staff and visitors in the reception area.
5.Receive and greet guests and customers and direct them to the reception. Contact LGCD staff and inform them about their guests and customers.
6.Maintain register for all visitors and ensure that visitors sign.
7.Take written messages for those who are not available in office and ensure that the messages reach the concerned staff.
8.Maintain the telephone directory of NGOs, government offices, businesses, and update it regularly and as required.
9.Any other identical task assigned by the respective supervisor.
EDUCATION: At least high school graduate. College education in preferable.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience in an equivalent position with International organizations. Work experienced in USAID funded project is a plus.
SKILLS: Working knowledge of English, both written and spoke. Able to communicate fluently effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team. Must also be able to create a supportive working relationship among all project teams.
LANGUAGES:Excellent Language proficiency in spoken and written Dari, Pashto, Urdu, English.
GENERAL:Tactfulness, Enthusiasm to the job. Good Human Relation skills, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
