Job Summary

Office Manager/Translator

Duties & Responsibilities

Work as a translator/interpreter of Pashto-English-Pashto and Dari-English-Dari when necessary;
Responsible for Translation of documents from all departments from English into Pashto, English into Dari and vice versa;
Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents, organize/coordinate and follow-up appointments, meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, type and distribute minutes of meetings;
Implement and maintain office systems, maintain schedules and calendars,
arrange and confirm appointments;
Organize internal and external events, handle incoming mail and other material, set up and maintain filing systems;
Collate information, communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information, liaise with internal and external contacts, coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally,
Operate office equipment;
Additional duties dictated by, Department Head and/or Operations Director

Job Requirements

University Degree preferred
Excellent command of oral and written English, Dari and Pashto required
At least 3 years of experience in translation and interpretation (English/Dari/Pashto) with international organization
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power point, Internet
Proven ability to work in multi-cultural environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to keep deadlines
