The Communications and Public Relations Officer will work under the guidance and direct supervision of Marketing and Communications Department management. He/ She will be responsible for information management and sharing of FMIC programmes and services with internal and external stakeholders. He/ She will be responsible for the development of publication materials, press releases, reports and newsletters. The person will assistant Marketing staff with other duties and necessary.
Focal PR Person for FMIC: planning, developing and implementing Public Relation strategies.
Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations.
Researching, writing and distributing press releases, success stories to targeted media.
preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes
Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours
Collating and analyzing media coverage.
Developing Email and SMSs to all FMIC referrals and corporate clients
Assist in development of communication material i.e. annual report, briefs and factsheets.
Developing flyers of Health related days
Developing CMEs, HAS sessions, monthly marketing E- news and other FMIC events report
Visiting hospitals and internal and external clients
Others: devising and coordinating photo opportunities,
Work on preparing success stories for internal distribution and online.

Any other relevant duties assigned by supervisor,
Bachelor Degree – Communications
A minimum of 3-year experience in areas of communications and public Relations
Knowledge of planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
Excellent oral and written communication skill in English and local languages.
Good Team work skill and have ability to be flexible in demanding situations;
Having good Computer literacy (MS Office Package).
