Job Summary

OSP ISP Site Supervisor
Manage all on site aspects of outside and inside plant cabling installations

Duties & Responsibilities

Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other data to plan OSP projects.

Plan and design OSP construction at sites in accordance with standards, using design software and drawing tools.

Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications.

Monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety with standards.

Direct OSP construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.

Participate in surveying to lay out OSP installations

Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of manholes,hand holes, concrete, asphalt, or steel.

Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or modifications and structural repairs to managerial personnel.

Conduct studies of environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact of projects.
