The Outreach Officer will provide support to the Monitoring and Evaluation department in various administrative and technical activities under the direct supervision of the M&E Manager.
Under the leadership of the department head and in coordination with the entire project team, the Outreach Assistant will contribute to the design of systems and tools for overall project monitoring and evaluation, data collection, data management, data analysis, and reporting.
The Outreach Assistant will also identify challenges in data collection and data management to the project lead team and offer suggestions for improving system design during the life of project.
Assist the M&E team in maintaining the department’s archive on bi-weekly basis
Assist in preparing the project monthly, quarterly and final reports, and monthly success stories.
The Outreach Assistant will contribute to the design of Outreach plans for the program activities and indicators.
In coordination with the project team, the Outreach assistant will correct data entry into M&E database
The Outreach Assistant will also undertake regular field visits to project sites to monitor project implementation and activities
The Outreach Assistant will also responsible for conducting formative research, Baseline and End line surveys and preparing their qualitative and quantitative well organized reports.
Information sharing with target stakeholders regarding project objectives, approaches, activities, and achievements
Collection of quantitative and qualitative data to measure project achievements
Provide guidance and support to field staff in target province in the development and implementation of monitoring tools, which will include, but not be limited to, data collection, analysis and reporting on program indicators;
Other Monitoring and Evaluation functions as needed.

Bachelor's degree with at least (3) years of experience working within the Communications/Media/M&E field
Basic understanding/knowledge of reporting writing, video and photography
Good written and oral communications skills in English, Pashto and Dari
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Ability to travel occasionally to the project sites and provincial offices
