Job Summary

Patrolmen supply specialist is responsible for establishing policies, goals, and priorities for the Petroline corps Inc; directing policy formulation, planning, financial management, operation, and analysis; establishing performance requirements and key milestones, developing and providing comprehensive proposal to Afghanistan Government.

A successful candidate in this position will serve as an advisor/specialist , responsible for defining requirements, developing/implementing program strategies, and providing program oversight for determining the type of petroleum crude oil and refined products to be stored, strategic locations, storage configurations, and management/operational policies that best meet national(Afghanistan) and/or international strategic program goals and customers' (refiners and end users) needs for reserve programs.
This position will be helped by two specialists from local markets and will provide all data and requirement about current national market

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will:

Provide technical advice and guidance to the General Manager on matters related to the petroleum industry and commodity markets.

Develop strategies for crude oil and product acquisition, financing, and alternative stock release policies and sales/exchange strategies over short and long-range timeframes in comply with national markets requirements in Afghansitan.

Provide crude oil and product values through market assessments, analysis of historical, current, and projected petroleum industry relationships and the use of analytical tools.

Maintain close liaison with industry counterparts to exchange technology and information in the areas of petroleum facility operations and maintenance.

Participate with industry, State, and local emergency management personnel in energy emergency planning sessions.

Job Requirements

A qualified candidate's and resume must demonstrate at least 5-10 year of specialized experience in Energy sector (Oil and Gas).
Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
1. Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, executing and evaluating various operations, maintenance, and logistics activities related to the petroleum transportation, storage, and/or distribution industry.
2. Demonstrated experience serving as an advisor, responsible for defining requirements, developing/implementing program strategies, and providing program or project oversight.
3. Expert knowledge of industry stocks and supply patterns for oil products and Gas
4. Expert knowledge of international petroleum supply and usage.
5. Expert knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and techniques of petroleum markets.
6. Expert knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and practices to determine optimal program design and operational and economic effectiveness.
7. Expert knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the petroleum transportation, storage, and/or distribution industry.
