Duties and responsibilities
1.Prepares plans for medicines supplying/procurement, export, import as per the MoPH/MoF and AGSC policies and procedures inside and outside the country.
2.Provides drugs availability information from inside and outside the country for bringing of the best business and trading opportunities.
3.Dispenses medications for trading by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals as per the country and international standards.
4.Controls and monitor the production and trading process of medicines.
5.Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians\' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
6.Provides pharmacological production and trade information in order to develop medicines trading business opportunities for the company.
7.Establish business relation with governmental and nongovernmental agencies, international organizations, hospital staff, pharmaceutical experts inside and outside the country (Pakistan) in order to strengthen and expand AGSC production opportunities.
8.Complies with state drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and drug administration by monitoring inspections; maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.
9.Consults with other pharmacy personnel, to obtain information/expertise in support of the investigational drug trials in order to enhance business/trading activities of the highest level of the country.
10.Effectively communicates with colleagues, and allied health professionals.
11.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations of the exporting and importing countries.
12.Maintains pharmaceutical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
13.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14.Responsible for any other tasks as assigned by Line Manger.
Required Education and Experience
BS Pharmacy Degree or a Doctor Pharmacy Degree with at least a two-year experience.
2-3 year experience in business and trading of medicines is a MUST.
Certifications in different areas of Pharmacy are a plus.
