Job Summary

To work under the direct supervision of the Program Manager/Construction Manager

including the following Duties and Responsibilities noticed in Duties and Responsibilities section

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and implement Critical Path Method (CPM) Baseline Schedule with Primavera Project Planner or Microsoft (MS) Project.
  • Update weekly and monthly construction schedule with narratives and progress analysis.
  • Coordinates the various subprojects into a Master schedule.
  • Maintains and monitors program and project level CPM.
  • Monitors program milestones and interdependencies between subprojects, identifying the critical path and suggesting alternatives
  • Provide translation services, oral and written for staff, as needed.
  • Prepare BoQ, Estimation and Plans for the project.
  • Manage project baseline Schedule and Recovery Schedule
  • Performing other duties assigned by relevant supervisor
  • Implement corrective action for adjusting schedules or workaround
  • Analyzing "look ahead" schedules for potential problems or delays

Job Requirements

  • Civil Engineer
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
  • Provide appropriate documentation to confirm education and experience
  • Experience preparing BOQ, tenders, design/AutoCAD MS projects and Primavera P6
  • Field construction experience an asset
