Job Summary

This job announcement is for 5 vocational jobs as follow:
Plumber, Carpenter, Welder, Painter, Mason, Tinsmith.
Skilled workers who are vocational, trained and have experience in any of the above positions may apply. Each candidate should have 3 years of relevant experience. Please mention in the subject line of your email while applying to which position and location the candidate intend to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

Plumber:
a. Well versed on the different international standards being adopted in plumbing works and installations.
b. Well rounded in the installation and repairs of all plumbing fixtures and related works.
c. Has full knowledge and experience in water pipe pressure testing, d. Can read and interpret plans and drawings into application,
e. Ability to prepare estimates of materials to be used based from plans and drawings,
f. Good workmanship and conscious on quality of work performed,
g. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience as Plumber,
h. Plumber must additionally possess a Trade Certification or Trade License, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority.

Carpenter:
a. Ability to read and understand technical blue prints and drawings on all the scope of work to
be carried out,
b. Adept in preparing estimates of materials and tools to be used based from plans and specifications,
c. Good workmanship and conscious on quality of work performed,
d. Proficient in the set up and operate wood working tools to cut, form and finish material for the job,
e. Well versed in all aspects of wood works, including repair and finishing jobs,
f. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience as Carpenter,
g. Carpenter must additionally possess a Trade Certification or Trade License, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority,

Welder:
a. Ability to read and understand technical blue prints and drawings on all the scope of work to
be carried out,
b. Proficient in all welding work requirements, including full knowledge in the proper use and applications required on metal fusions,
c. Estimates material requirements and tools or equipment needed to perform job,
d. Sets up and operates electrical and welding working tools to cut, form and finish material for the job,
e. Of good workmanship and consciousness on quality assurance on the work performed,
f. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience as Welder, g. Welder must additionally possess a Trade Certification or Trade License, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority.

Painter:
a. Well rounded in the on paint applications and mixes of required color.
b. With good workmanship and conscious on quality of work performed
c. Makes sketches showing painting and signage details for the job.
d. Can prepare estimates on material requirements and tools or equipment needed to perform the job,
e. Sets up and operates painting tools and equipment to design, paint, and finish material for the job,
f. Proficient in finishing works and refinishing required on the job,
g. Prepare pattern, stencil, template, formwork for all new lettering painting works, undertake final finishing works on all painting jobs creating a finish in accordance with the specifications and standards,
h. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience in painting works,
i. Painter must additionally possess a Trade Certification or Trade License, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority.

Mason:
a. Well rounded in all aspects of concrete works, including finishing and refinishing jobs.
b. Has full knowledge and experience on quality testing and procedures conducted and required in concrete works,
c. Can read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications into application,
d. Ability to prepare estimates of materials to be used based from plans and drawings,
e. Good workmanship and conscious on quality of work performed,
f. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience as Mason,
g. Mason must additionally possess a Trade Certification, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority.

Tinsmith:
a. Ability to read and understand technical blue prints and drawings on all the scope of work to be carried out, b. Well rounded in all aspects of tinsmith works and fabrication requirements required in the project and assures compliance to technical specifications,
c. With good workmanship and consciousness on safety in the work place, particularly proper disposal of work refuse that may cause injury.
d. Knowledgeable in the basic handling and requirements in metals fusions,
e. Must at least have 3 years of progressively responsible experience Tinsmith, and must additionally possess a Trade Certification or Trade License, which is applicable to the trade, from a recognized institution or authority.
