Job Summary

·        Present both per-recorded and live programmers and news bulletins

·        Available in urgent cases and to present other shows in the absence of fellow presenters

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Generate ideas for his/her programme and discuss it with the producer

·        Discuss the topic with researchers

·        Conduct online researches

·        Ensure researchers provide not only online researches

·        Consult the questions with the producer of the show

·        Help producers invite guests to ensure a balanced panel

·        Suggest developments and creativity to his/her shows

·        Report his daily activities to producer

·        Present both per-recorded and live programmers and news bulletins

·        Available in urgent cases and to present other shows in the absence of fellow presenters

·        Write his/her scripts in coordination with the producers

·        Originate and develop programme ideas, assist in forward planning of material for future programmers

Provide briefings for reporters, camera crews and other resources staff and contributors

Job Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree (Journalism department, language and literature department)

·       Good knowledge of MS. Office programs

·        Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Dari, Pashto and English

·        Analytical skills

·        Responsibility and ability to work under pressure is required
