Duties & Responsibilities


Assist Procurement Manager in over all procurement activities

Coordinate and implement day to day operations of procurement.

Plan, prepare and execute the procurement of goods and services according to the priorities established in KIHE procurement plan.

Assist in preparing procurement notices, bidding documents, requests for proposals, invitation to bid, minutes of bid/tender opening session, evaluation report contracts.

Coordinate the scheduling, arrangements and participation in bid opening sessions.

Prepare records and minutes of bid opening sessions.

Assist to establish, maintain and update database regarding suppliers regularly

Process payment request and obtain necessary approval before submitting to finance

Scan procurement files and upload it in system

Identify potential venders and markets to maintain high quality and reasonable price of goods procured

Maintain highest level of transparency and fairness in all sorts of purchases/ tenders/ pre-qualification/vendor registration

Collect quotations from venders and arrange approval from competent authority

Ensure that the supplier is reliable in offering goods/services in specific time, cost effectiveness and quality.

Responsible to collect sample before signing contracts

Prepare and submit procurement report to Procurement Manager on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Assist follow up with finance and cashier for payment release.

Job Requirements


High School graduate, Bachelor’s degree is preferable

Diploma programs in office management, administration and English language would be preferable.

At least 3 years of proven relevant experience.

Spoken and written proficiency in Dari, Pashto and English is required;

Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally;

Detail-oriented with particular attention to tasks and responsibilities;

Ability to multi-task ensuring achievement of goals and objectives identified;

Ability to work independently and taking initiatives;

Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure and time constraints;
