Procurement bidding officer

Duties & Responsibilities

1.
1. Coordinate with suppliers to receive appropriate quotation according to bidding documents specifications. Submit the bidding documents within the time frame specified.

2. Coordinate with Finance department for arranging bid security or Performance security as per the requirements of the tender.

3. Execute procurement requests within specified time frame upon completion of all documents required.

4. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to receive quotations with competitive prices.

5. Participate in bid opening meeting and note the minutes of meeting of bid opening results

6. Coordinate with logistic department to ensure the goods delivery

7. Receive and submit the invoice with the required documents to the Finance Department.

8. Maintain proper filing system for each operation.

9. Prepare and update list for all suppliers and projects.

10. Receive and study bidding documents and respond to each bidder.

Job Requirements

Experience: 2 - 3 years
Qualifications: Minimum requirements:

1. At least bachelor degree in Economics, Procurement, Business Administration, Public Administration with 2 years of relevant experience
2. Excellent Written and spoken Dari or Pashto and English languages.
3. Fully aware of Afghanistan Procurement Law and regulations.
4. at least 2 years Experience with Government of Afghanistan in Procurement section



Reporting obligations:

The procurement bidding officer will report to the purchase manager.
