Program assistant will perform and series of issues related to the project such as managing the data, coordinating field work and actively assisting the program officer and present the report every week to the program officer.
Manage the data and reports which comes from the field and write a brief report every week to the program officer.
Contacting regularly with the Focal points every two days in order to make sure that the monitoring process is going well in the area and define the problem/s of the local monitors.
Writing letter to the government organs and follow up the letters.
Data entry and uploading data on the website.
Working closely with other team members, use the time effectively in the office.
Coordinating field work.
Writing up detailed notes on interviews and observation visits
Actively contribute and give input to other IWA’s pillar
Translate all notes from Pashto and Dari into English and vice versa
Liaising with the Office Manager and finance officer and logistic officer regarding logistics and fieldwork issues.
Report to the program officer every week.
Other related issues to the project.
Education:
University graduate/High School graduate in related field.
Experience:
At least one year experience of conducting or participating in social science research.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities:
Be able to communicate easily with the government officials and local people and ability to write letters to the stakeholders.
Be able to assist the social science research.
Be able to travel to the field.
Be able of working with people from different backgrounds, including civil servants, MPs, government officials, members of the international community, rural communities, media and civil society partners.
Excellent Dari, and Pashto( orally and written are required) with good English
Computer skills, including word-processing, email, PowerPoint, Excel.
 Excellent interpersonal skill with pleasant personality and ability to meet people with different backgrounds.
Be able to listen and observe carefully, remember well, and write detailed notes
Inquisitive and questioning nature and interest in people.
Ability to work efficiently and organize his/her own time
Ability to define the problem and find the solution. And ability to work hard condition.
