Afghan Child Protection and Help Organization (ACPH), Multi Location
ACPHO is founded in 2021 to respond to current humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. We are primarily
focusing on protecting and helping children at risk. We are a non-profit organization aiming help
communities mitigate risks and improve their resilience and ensure a future for the children at risk.
We are looking for a project manager to be responsible for organizing programs and activities for our
organization. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as
well as creating and managing long term goals. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating
plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience, program management, project
management and proposal writing. A bachelor's degree is required
Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
• Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
• Creating and managing long-term goals.
• Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
• Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify funding opportunities.
• Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
• Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
• Ensuring goals are met in areas programs and organizational objectives.
• Establish and build relations with donors and development organizations.
• Writing concept and proposals for projects.
• Meeting with stakeholders, community members and organization in order to establish relations and
build communication for building resilience.
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of program and activities status.
• Analyzing program strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
• Carrying out research on humanitarian situation and issues in Afghanistan and identifying areas of
involvement for ACPHO
• Developing, short term, midterm and long-term strategy for ACPHO.
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
• Proven experience in program management.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in managing a team.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of project management.
